In Italy, he achieved success with the song Rock Your Baby and later, in 1969, thanks to his versatility, as a theater actor, taking part with Renato Zero, Teo Teocoli, Glen White and Loredana Bertè in the cast ofmusical Hair.

Ronnie travels the world with the USAF arriving in England where his professional story begins when Alexis Korner introduces him to the young manager and founder of Radio Caroline, Ronan O'Rahilly. At that time Alexis alternated various singers in the group he created, "Blues Incorporated", which featured Cyril Davis, Johnny Parker, Jack Bruce and a young drummer named Ginger Baker. Ronnie, for the first time in his life, records “The night time is the right time” by Ray Charles and “Drifters&Money Honey”. Those were glorious days. After his military service Ronnie returns to England where he first joins Mick Eves and Aohn Mc Laughlin to form Nightimers and later to Roger Dean with whom he forms Blue Jays. The second band remains together for a longer period, sufficient to make themselves known in France and Germany, but the dissolution arrives and with this new experiences.

It's the turn of Ronnie meeting with Chester Simon bassist with Tony O'Malley in the group de QSet. The band's name comes from the Jamaican club in Paddington with ska and reggae rhythms, called Q Club, where Q stands for Queue, the long one you have to do to enter the club. The band does several tours in France and Italy, but homesickness leads its members to go their own way after a last Italian tour of 3 months.

In 1970 he lent his voice to the stage show Orfeo 9 by Tito Schipa Jr., transformed into a television film two years later. The commitment lasts 10 months, after which, in the absence of job offers in the role of singer and actor, Ronnie starts working in a club as a DJ, an activity that is congenial to him. Indeed in the early 70s, at the time of "High liking", is discovered by the authors themselves “Arbore” and “Boncompagni” who insert him in what will be his first show radio “Musica in”, flanked by a very young Claudio Lippi, Barbara Marchand and Franco Bracardi (Solforio).

In this capacity he works for the RAI Italian Radio, reaching stardom a Radio 105, 101, RTL and 105 Classics and soon after on television on Canale with the show "Pop Corn", with Augusto Martelli, and with Maurizio Costanzo, he was a DJ showman at Buona Domenica. In this time period Ronnie records 4 albums with Jurgen Korduletsch (one of these also sees the participation of Claudja Barry). Their titles are: "Looking for action", Me and myself, Fox on the run" and "Games" which includes "Video Games" the theme song of the show "Pop Corn". The albums enter the European charts and a single, "Soulsister", earns in Canada the Gold Record in first place in the sales charts. Then other singles and important collaborations with many artists and record companies on the Italian and international scene.

After several years of television, recording and radio success as a presenter, DJ and Showman until the end of the 80s, his "versatility" resurfaces, which prompts him to take into consideration the fact that he was born artistically as a great singer. Periods of great concerts begin throughout Italy and abroad and the realization of some of the most beautiful jingles and commercials, always remaining among the leading names in the international art scene.

Among the various bands and live productions to date stand out: the first band, founded in the late 80s Blues After Dark and the second Seven40, with which he starts writing songs again. Always continuing to make concerts and recording hits, in the mid-90s, supported and encouraged by the inseparable friend and percussionist of all the aforementioned bands Max Conte Pellegrini, they founded together the "Soul Syndicate" band that still today sees them engaged on all live stages, entertaining and entertaining the audience with a Soul, Funky and R&B repertoire that traces the years of Motown and the Seventies of which it is the most representative figure in Italy.

The songs recorded by Ronnie, mostly in the 70s and 80s and which made the discos go wild at the time, give rise to new successful remixes played by the most famous dance DJs of the moment. He is also the author of more than two hundred songs, one famous with Fornaciari sugar "Bambino io Bambino tu" and the other "Let's all dance" for "The Band of Jocks". But there are other songs too, like "Me and myself", "The Man", "I want to make a wow" and "Welcome to the party". In 2001, another hit "Wake up reggae" produced by Flavio Ibba is remembered, which takes Ronnie back to his origins by magnificently interpreting a reggae single used for the Fiat Doblò advertising campaign. In 2006 with Emilio Foglio, his guitarist and co-author, he created and released the album "Again" produced by the Nicolosi brothers, in which he sees the collaboration of artists such as: Billy Cobham, Bill Evans and Steve Lukather of Toto and in 2010 his new cd BANG produced by Max Berio and a new single "Calypso Blues". Ronnie's voice is Black, Gospel, he sings with the group "Gospel times", a Gospel choir created by Joyce Yuille, which in addition to Ronnie sees Julia St. Louis and Dilù Miller at his side performing a contemporary Gospel repertoire worthy of the most acclaimed American choirs.

Despite having achieved important artistic goals, Ronnie too has always wanted to pay tribute to the one who has been his great source of inspiration since the very beginning. Thus was born the project that highlights all his vocal characteristics and sees him fill the best European theaters, with the "Ray Charles Memories" in which he "interprets" more than twenty hits of the great artist, accompanied by a Big Band composed of 20 elements.

Great successes for Ronnie Jones, international Guest Star, in the role of the hospital ghost in the Musical "Ghost" which will see him on tour throughout Italy in 2018 and 2019. Unfortunately, due to a worldwide pandemic, the Tour was stopped!
